JDRF highly encourages covid responsibility when hosting anyone in your home, even if you see them frequently. Below are some practices you may like to implement:

-hand sanitizer stations at entry door and near food serving areas with signage asking guests to sanitize hands
-encourage guests to wear masks when not specifically eating or drinking
-stay 6 feet apart when wearing a mask is not possible
-provide drinks in large vessels with one person assigned to serving so as not to have many hands on different surfaces
-space out seating areas where possible
-if weather permits, consider hosting outside, or provide a combination of indoor/outdoor party space
-make available many garbage receptacles so individuals are able to dispose of their own trash
